About Jane Hanbuch

Jane has been fortunate to work in a number of neighborhoods as an educator and knows what a great place this city is and how much we have to share with each other. She has done a lot of her volunteer work in cultural organizations such as The Brickendens, and Sunfest. Beyond her delight in playing with her grandkids, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, bridge and taking care of the bees in the LUBK co-op.

In 2017 as part of the London Urban Beekeepers.

Why did you join the Urban League as a Board Member?

I really believe in the phrase think globally act locally. We have to do what we can to take care of our neighbours, [and] our city to make an impact.

What Urban League advocacy focuses are you most passionate about?

Right now, I am excited about the Urban League’s role in putting on the All Candidates’ Meetings.

Are you currently, or have you ever been, associated with any neighbourhood or community groups within London? If so, which ones?

I am with LUBC.
