Why did you join the Urban League as a Board Member?

Municipalities are the closest level of government to the people, and the policies at this level significantly impact community vitality. I wanted to be part of a group that actively strengthens communities, addresses social inequities and advocates for policies that make London a vibrant community where everyone can thrive.

What Urban League advocacy focuses are you most passionate about?

I’m passionate about issues impacting diversity, equity and inclusion, and climate action.

Are you currently, or have you ever been, associated with any neighbourhood or community groups within London? If so, which ones?

I am not actively part of a group, however, the ULL has allowed me to meet folks from many neighbourhood and community groups in the city and participate in activities hosted by them.
